Howdy, everyone! My name is Sophie, I'm 18 y.o. I'm studying Civil Engineering at the Peter the Great St.Petersburg Polytechnic University. It's my first year here, so I try to find as many activities as I can and that's why I decided to take part in this event organisation. My interests are pretty vast: arts, history, social studies. I've conducted surveys in literature and after the last one (I've done two studies) I found that nature studies are as great as liberal arts, so I started to learn physics, mathematics, biology, paleontology. As the result, now I have a study on laser technologies and a nice seaweed as a pet. Her name is Isolde and she's a little bundle of joy. As I have some knowledge in history and architecture, I can tell you something interesting about Saint-Petersburg and its building external appearance. They say, that I'm a good speaker so I hope my talk won't be very dull, but if it is, we can visit one of the excellent pubs as our city is rich in them. I'd like to know more about architecture and engineering during the conference, so I'm really looking forward to hear about TRIZ. See you soon!
