In the USSR, many interesting toys were created for children and young people. One of them was a set for young radio fans. Let's explore some of them.
Radio constructors are a set of radio components (resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, RF transformer, variable capacitor, lamp holder, contact and headphones) that allow you to mount the simplest radio devices without using a soldering iron.
The kit includes: organic glass circuit board, tweezers, nut with screws, screwdriver, socket wrench and mounting rails. With the help of these tools the radio is assembled. Also in the kits there is an instruction in which different wiring diagrams are shown. These circuits help radio fans to assemble a detector receiver, receivers on one, two, three and four transistors, two and three transistor bass amplifiers, a device for testing transistors and a device for connecting the assembled receivers to household radio receivers for listening to radio stations through an external speaker. Any batteries and accumulators with voltage from 4.5 to 9 V can be used as power sources.
Radio constructor - Laboratory "Young Electronic-50" was produced since 1980. The UE-50 laboratory was a game for schoolchildren. Allowed them to get acquainted with the work of 50 semiconductor circuits, such as bass amplifiers, radio receivers, generators and many others. She also contributed to the improvement of knowledge and practical skills in the field of physics and radio electronics.
A distinctive feature of this set is that it does not require a soldering iron to perform installation work. To start using this radio receiver you only need to connect the radio elements together in accordance with the scheme. [4]

The electronic children's constructor " Set No. 1" was produced by the Kanevsky Electromechanical factory " Magnit " since 1980.
Constructor No. 1 allows you to assemble several operating circuits of various radio and electrical devices using the soldering iron that comes in the kit.[2]
Radio Receiver "Malchish" was produced in 1973 by the plant "Chaika". The radio constructor was intended for those who had initial knowledge of radio engineering. Since the beginning of the release, the receiver board was made of textolite. Also there were inconsistencies in the electrical and wiring diagrams of the receiver. Because of this many radio fans were not able to make the completed receiver work. In 1975 all the shortcomings were eliminated and the receiver board was made of cardboard. After that the number of claims decreased. In this form the radio structure had been produced many years later. [1]

Домашнее радио в СССР
Радиоконструкторы представляют собой набор радиодеталей (резисторы, конденсаторы, диоды, транзисторы, трансформатор ВЧ, конденсатор переменной ёмкости, патрон с сигнальной лампочкой, контакт и головные телефоны) позволяющие монтировать простейшие радиоустройства без применения паяльника.
Комплект конструкторов включает в себя: монтажную плата из органического стекла, пинцет, гайку с винтами, отвёртку, торцовый ключ и монтажные шинки. Именно с помощь этих инструментов осуществляется сборка радио. Также в наборах имеется инструкция, в которой изображены разные монтажных схем. Данные схемы помогают радиолюбителям собрать детекторный приёмник, приёмники на одном, двух, трёх и четырех транзисторах, двух и трёх транзисторные усилители НЧ, прибор для проверки транзисторов и устройство для подключения собранных приёмников к бытовым радиоприёмникам для прослушивания радиостанций через внешний громкоговоритель. В качестве источников питания можно использовать любые батареи и аккумуляторы напряжением от 4,5 до 9 В.
Радиоконструктор - Лаборатория "Юный Электроник-50" выпускался с 1980 года. Лаборатория "ЮЭ-50" была игрой для детей школьного возраста. Позволяла им ознакомиться с работой 50-ти полупроводниковых схем, таких как усилители НЧ, радиоприёмные устройства, генераторы и многих других. Также она способствовала повышению знаний и практических навыков в области физики и радиоэлектроники.
Характерной особенностью данного конструктора является то, что для выполнения монтажных работ он не требует паяльника. Чтобы начать пользоваться данным радиоприемником, нужно лишь соединить между собой радиоэлементы в соответствии со схемой.
Конструктор электронный детский "Набор № 1" выпускался Каневским электромеханическим заводом "Магнит" с 1980 года.
Конструктор № 1 позволяет собрать несколько схемы различных радио и электротехнических устройств с использованием паяльника, который идет в наборе.
Радиоприемник "Мальчиш" выпускался заводом "Чайка" в 1973 году. Радиоконструктор был создан для тех, кто имел базовые знания в радиотехнике. Изначально плата приёмника была выполнена из текстолита. Также были недоработки в электрической и монтажной схемах приёмника. Было много жалоб от начинающих радиолюбителей, которым так и не удавалось подключить готовый радиоприемник. В1975 года все недоработки были устранены, а плату приёмника стали изготавливать из картона. После этого количество претензий по сборке резко уменьшилось. В таком виде радиоконструктор выпускался еще несколько лет.
