1) В 1936 году первый советский робот был создан школьником Вадимом Мацкевичем и получил название В2М
2) Создание робота происходило в течение двух лет в токарных мастерских новочеркасского Политеха
3) Робот В2М умел поднимать руку чуть выше плеча, так как имел слабые двигатели.
4) В 1969 на станции юных техников в городе Щегково Московской области школьники собрали робота-гиганта на основе «В2М»
5) «Сын» первого советского андроида также удостоился внимания международной научной общественности – робот был представлен публике на проходившей в Японии выставке «ЭКСПО-70».
6) В мировых газетах говорилось, что новый робот «умел говорить через запись, двигать руками и ходить. Он может считать, показывать результаты счёта на маленьком экране, встроенном в шлем»
