"One-two – woe does not matter!" is a fantastic fairy tale musical, filmed in 1988 based on
the play by Julia Kim.
In the second half of the eighties of the twentieth century, there was a warming of political relations between the USSR and USA. As a sign of reconciliation of the parties, the "Treaty on the Elimination of Intermediate-range and Shorter-range Missiles" was signed. All these events could not but affect the domestic cinema. [3] In the world of the film, the Russian tsar and lasers, steam self-propelled carts and heroes intersect. This mix of ideas creates perhaps the most unusual fairy tale in the history of Soviet cinema.[1]
Plot:
Ivan the soldier returns from a campaign with the head of a defeated dragon. For this glorious victory, Ivan the Tsar (Oleg Tabakov) offers him the rank of field marshal, a giant order and a princess to marry. The soldier refuses everything and asks for permission to go on vacation for a year. Offended by the refusal, the tsar dismisses the hero, and appoints Ivan the hero's younger brother Thomas in his place. At this time, King Jean-Jacques (Nikolai Karachentsov) comes to woo the princess, but quarrels with the tsar and declares war on the kingdom Far Away, and uses a giant robot Carbaras as the main weapon, which reacts only to his whistle. The hero Thomas comes to the rescue, who dreams of becoming more famous than his older brother, but he manages to shoot off only the robot's ear. And now only Ivan the soldier and his friend, inventor Danila, will be able to stop Karbaras. [1]
Stylistically, the tape is pure steampunk. The giant invulnerable robot Carbaras can be stopped only with the help of a laser gun "blue ray". Balloons and self-propelled carts, stylized as samovars and Russian stoves, are in the order of things here. There is also a place for magic in the world: together with Jean-Jacques, there are two eastern sorcerers who do not hesitate to use magic, and in the finale, only living water will save the hero's life. [1]
For filming, it was necessary to make a giant combat robot with a modest film budget. Honored design engineer, film artist and stunt director Valery Pavlotos and young designer Andrey Chechenev were involved in the creation of the Carbaras.
To create such a giant mechanism at a price in those years was comparable to the construction of a five-story house. The scenes with Karbaras were filmed at a military training ground near Simferopol. [5]
The creators approached the work with
imagination. An 18-meter metal structure in the form of a triangular frame made of steel beams was made. The bearing vertical structure was the upper section of the support of the high-voltage line. The two rear supports of the triangular frame were placed on trailers for the transportation of long loads, and the front on KrAZ. KrAZ also served as a tractor.
If you think about what may be hiding in the guise of the robot Carbaras, which is an uncontrollable source of danger for the whole world and even for its creator, then this can only be the uncontrolled processes of radioactive contamination that arose as a result of the explosion of a nuclear reactor that occurred as a result of the Chernobyl accident on April 26, 1986.[2]
The presence of sharp political satire in the tape, which fills the dialogues of most of the key characters, and especially the kings, is worthy of special attention. Children laugh fervently, but adults should think hard. The issues of the arms race and what they can lead to on very steep turns of history are also perfectly demonstrated.What is one dialogue between Jean Jean and the princess worth:
- Oh, my poor country, oh, my unhappy people!
- Why is she poor?- asks Princess Marie-Louise, - after all, Carbaras is coming to our kingdom.
- First on yours, and then on mine. The earth is round!- the king cries out. And adds
- Save yourself who can. [4]
The attentive viewer should pay attention to many words spoken as if "between the lines". As in many children's works, questions of honor, valor, self-sacrifice in their various manifestations, love and friendship, of course, are raised here. But the way the political games are subtly demonstrated remains relevant to this day.[4]

Роботы в советской сказке сказка "Раз, два, горе - не беда!"
«Раз-два – горе не беда» – это фантастическая сказка-мюзикл, снятая в 1988 году по пьесе Юлия Кима. Во второй половине восьмидесятых годов двадцатого века произошло потепление политических отношений между С.С.С.Р. и С.Ш.А. В знак примирение сторон был подписан «Договор о ликвидации ракет средней и меньшей дальности». Все эти события не могли не отразиться на отечественном кинематографе. [3] В мире фильма пересекаются русский царь и лазеры, паровые самоходные телеги и богатыри. Этот микс из идей создаёт возможно самую необычную сказку в истории советского кино.
Сюжет:
Иван-солдат возвращается из похода с головой поверженного дракона. За эту славную победу Иван-царь (Олег Табаков) предлагает ему звание фельдмаршала, гигантский орден и принцессу в жёны. Солдат отказывается от всего и просит разрешения отправиться в отпуск на год. Оскорбленный отказом царь увольняет героя, а на его место назначает младшего брата Ивана богатыря Фому. В это время король Жан-Жак (Николай Караченцов) приезжает свататься к принцессе, но ссорится с царём и объявляет Тридевятому царству войну, а в качестве главного оружия использует гигантского робота Карбараса, который реагирует только на его свисток. На помощь приходит богатырь Фома, который мечтает прославится больше, чем старший брат, но ему удается отстрелить роботу только ухо. И теперь остановить Карбараса смогут только Иван-солдат и его друг, изобретатель Данила. [1]
Стилистически лента – чистый стимпанк. Гигантского неуязвимого робота Карбараса можно остановить только при помощи лазерной пушки «синий луч». Воздушные шары и самоходные телеги, стилизованные под самовары и русские печи, здесь в порядке вещей. Также в мире есть место и волшебству: вместе с Жан-Жаком ходят два восточных колдуна, которые не стесняются пускать магию в ход, а в финале жизнь героя спасёт только живая вода. [1]
Для съемок необходимо было сделать гигантского боевого робота со скромным бюджетом фильма. К созданию Карбараса были привлечены заслуженный инженер-конструктор, художник кино и постановщик трюков Валерий Павлотос и молодой дизайнер Андрей Чеченев.
Создать такой гигантский механизм по цене в те годы было сопоставимо с постройкой пятиэтажного дома. Сцены с Карбарасом снимали на военном полигоне под Симферополем. [5]
К работе творцы подошли с фантазией. Была изготовлена 18 метровая металлическая конструкция в виде треугольной рамы из стальных балок. Несущей вертикальной конструкцией стала верхняя секция опоры высоковольтной линии. Две задние опоры треугольной рамы были поставлены на автоприцепы для перевозки длинномерных грузов, а передняя на КрАЗ. КрАЗ послужил также тягачом.
Если задуматься над тем, что может скрываться в облике робота Карбараса, что является неуправляемым источником опасности для всего мира и даже для его создателя, то этим может быть только неуправляемые процессы радиоактивного загрязнения, возникшие в результате взрыва ядерного реактора, случившегося в результате аварии на Чернобыльской АЭС 26 апреля 1986 года. Наличие в ленте острой политической сатиры, которой наполнены диалоги большинства ключевых персонажей, а особенно царей, достойна отдельного внимания. Дети задорно смеются, а вот взрослым стоит крепко задуматься. Отлично продемонстрированы и вопросы гонки вооружений и к чему они могут привести на очень крутых виражах истории.Чего стоит один диалог Жан Жана и принцессы:
- О бедная моя страна, о несчастный мой народ!
-Почему же она бедная?-спрашивает принцесса Мария-Луиза, -ведь Карбарас идет на наше царство.
-Сначала на ваше, а потом на мое. Земля-то круглая!-вскрикивает король. И добавляет
-Спасайся кто может [4]
На многие слова, сказанные как будто "между строк" внимательному зрителю стоит обратить свое внимание. Как и во многих детских произведениях, здесь подняты вопросы чести, доблести, самопожертвования в различных своих проявлениях, любви и дружбы, конечно же. Но то, как тонко продемонстрированы политические игры, остается актуальным и по сей день.[4]
