The culture of the Soviet era was a culture of symbols that the authorities sought to fix and perpetuate literally in everything: monuments, music, architecture, paintings, poems, and even in household appliances! Today we will look at quite unusual and inventive types of incandescent light bulbs created in the Soviet Union.

Electric lamp with the image of V. I. Lenin.
Here is the first unusual lamp from today's list. Instead of an incandescent filament, there is an image of V. I. Lenin in profile. On the glass flask is a stamp with profile images of Lenin And Stalin.
There is a caption on the lamp: "to the Delegate of the seventh Congress of Soviets".
The light bulb is made of glass and metal. Dimensions: 12.0 x 7.0 cm.

Lamp-gift to the XII Congress of the RCP(b).
The next exhibit - lamp with an incandescent filament in the form of a silhouette Of Lenin, which is a gift to the XII Congress of the RCP(b) from the workers of the First and Second United state factories of electric lamps, 1922.

Factory workers created this unique object inspired by Lenin's idea to illuminate all the cities and villages of the world's first socialist state. Light bulb power - 1000 candles: its light is much stronger than that of incandescent lamps used today in everyday life and industry.
This exhibit perfectly illustrates the sincere romantic enthusiasm with which the workers of the enterprise reacted to one of the most famous precepts of Lenin. The lamp is a kind of symbol of the so-called "Ilyich light bulb" - a simple household incandescent lamp, the spread of which began in the 1920s as part of the electrification plan for the entire country.

Electric lamp with the image of Stalin.
Here is a gas-discharge light bulb (neon gas), 127 Watts. The first 127-Watt neon light bulbs were made, as already mentioned, as a memorable gift for the delegation of the VII all-Union Congress of Soviets, which was held in the winter of 1935. The Congress was opened by Stalin. Therefore, lamps with his image were also made.

Light bulb "50 years of Revolution".
Here is an example of another soviet gas-discharge neon light bulb dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the october revolution. Production lviv electric lamp factory, 1967.
Inside the light bulb are two electrodes made in the form of an Aurora cruiser and the number "50". The flask is filled with an inert neon gas (low pressure). Operating voltage - 220 Volts, power 3 Watts. The back half of the bulb inside the lamp is painted white for greater contrast.

Light bulb "to the Conquerors of the space, USSR".
Memorable gas-discharge neon light bulb to the Conquerors of the space, USSR. Production lviv electric lamp factory, 1969. Inside the light bulb are two electrodes made in the form of a stele of the Cosmonautics Museum and the inscription of the USSR.
As in the previous lamp, the flask is filled with an inert gas neon (low pressure). Operating voltage - 220 Volts, power 5 Watts.

Light bulb "50 years of the USSR. Kremlin».
Light bulb "50 years of the ussr. Kremlin" is also a gas-discharge neon light bulb, production - lviv electric lamp factory, 1967. The electrodes of the light bulb are made in the form of an image of the Kremlin and the number "50".

Сегодня мы рассмотрим довольно необычные и изобретательные виды ламп накаливания, созданных в Советском Союзе.

Электрическая лампа с изображением В. И. Ленина.
Перед вами первая необычная лампа из сегодняшнего списка. Вместо нити накаливания – изображение В.И. Ленина погрудно, в профиль. На стеклянной колбе находится штамп с профильными изображениями В.И. Ленина и И.В. Сталина.
На лампе есть надпись: "Делегату VII съезда Советов".
Лампочка сделана из стекла и металла. Размеры: 12,0 х 7,0 см.

Лампа-подарок XII съезду РКП (б).
Следующий экспонат – лампа с нитью накаливания в виде силуэта В.И. Ленина, являющаяся подарком к ХII съезду РКП(б) от рабочих Первой и Второй объединенных государственных фабрик электрических ламп, 1922 год.

Рабочие фабрики создали этот уникальный предмет, вдохновлённые идеей Ленина – осветить все города и села первого в мире социалистического государства. Мощность лампочки — 1000 свечей: ее свет гораздо сильнее, чем у ламп накаливания, использующихся сегодня в быту и индустрии.
Этот экспонат прекрасно иллюстрирует искренний романтический энтузиазм, с которым рабочие предприятия отнеслись к одному из самых известных заветов Ленина. Лампа является своеобразным символом так называемой «лампочки Ильича» — простой бытовой лампы накаливания, распространение которой началось в 20-х годах в рамках выполнения плана электрификации всей страны.

Электрическая лампа с изображением Сталина.
Перед вами – газоразрядная лампочка (газ неон), 127 Ватт. Первые неоновые лампочки на 127 Ватт были изготовлены, как уже говорилось, в качестве памятного подарка для делегации VII Всесоюзного съезда Советов, который проходил зимой 1935-го года. Съезд открывал Сталин. Потому, лампы с его обличием также были изготовлены.

Лампочка «50 лет Революции».
Вот пример ещё одной советской газоразрядной неоновой лампочки, посвящённой 50-летию Октябрьской революции. Производство Львовский электроламповый завод, 1967 год.
Внутри лампочки два электрода, выполненных в виде крейсера Авроры и цифры "50". Колба заполнена инертным газом неон (низкого давления). Напряжение рабочее - 220 Вольт, мощность 3 Ватта. Задняя половина колбы внутри лампы окрашена белой краской для большего контраста.

Неоновая памятная лампочка «Покорителям космоса».
Памятная газоразрядная неоновая лампочка Покорителям космоса СССР. Производство Львовский электроламповый завод, 1969 год. Внутри лампочки два электрода, выполненных в виде стелы Музея космонавтики и надписи СССР.
Как и в предыдущем экземпляре, колба заполнена инертным газом неон (низкого давления). Напряжение рабочее - 220 Вольт, мощность 5 Ватт.

Лампочка «50 лет СССР. Кремль» также является газоразрядной неоновой лампочкой, производство – Львовский электроламповый завод, 1967 год. Электроды лампочки выполнены в виде изображения кремля и числа «50».
