Such a question as the fight against violators of labor discipline in the USSR was very disturbing in those years. People who missed work for various disrespectful reasons, for example, because they drank alcohol in large quantities, became an unpleasant problem for employers. There are various examples, sometimes even “funny” for us, but not for that time.
This old photo, dated 1932, shows a "pillory" with the names of the violators. People passing by look at the names on this list with interest.
The next picture shows a post of truants at the "Proletarian Factory", the photo is dated 1932. Here is a monument in the form of a bottle of wine with the inscription " Bread wine 43 (degrees)”. People who skipped work because of drunkenness came up for a bottle of this drink and got on the list of violators.
The demonstration on November 7, 1928 caused a serious public coverage. This photo shows a cart that inspires people to demonstrate. Fun fact: in the notes, you can find that people who lived at that time believed that they drank any drinks in tea shops, except tea. The inscription on the cart reads : " All work and all construction is in the hands of the workers."
This photo shows an inscription that was also intended to combat truants. In this case, with a certain Kulikov. The inscription reads: "Here in this house in apartment №3 lives a truant Kulikov - a worker of the plant " Electrician", his systematic absenteeism disrupts the industrial plan of the plant."
This method of dealing with violators made sense, because the mentality of people who lived in the USSR sometimes did not allow them to see themselves in the lists of parasites and motivated them to correct themselves.

Такой вопрос, как борьба с нарушителями трудовой дисциплины в СССР, был в те годы очень тревожным. Демонстрация 7 ноября 1928 года вызвала серьезный общественный резонанс. На этой фотографии изображена тележка, которая вдохновляет людей на демонстрацию. Забавный факт: в записках можно найти, что люди, жившие в то время, считали, что пьют в чайных любые напитки, кроме чая. Надпись на телеге гласит : "Вся работа и все строительство в руках рабочих."
На этой фотографии изображена надпись, которая также предназначалась для борьбы с прогульщиками. В данном случае с неким Куликовым. Надпись гласит: "Вот в этом доме в квартире №3 живет прогульщик Куликов - рабочий завода "Электрик", его систематические прогулы срывают производственный план завода."
Такой способ борьбы с нарушителями имел смысл, поскольку менталитет людей, живших в СССР, порой не позволял им видеть себя в списках тунеядцев и побуждал их исправляться.
